The Kirtle: Versatility for the Medieval Fashionista

I love the way kirtles work. No matter what your figure or silhouette, they make everyone look fabulous. And they are amazingly versatile. Humble or fancy, buttons or lacings, short sleeves or long sleeves, demurely modest or flagrantly wanton, kirtles can do it all. And wow! Accessories and variations really add panache.
