The Rules:
Must be closely based on design of a medieval siege weapon not to exceed 11 inches in any direction (length, width, height).
May be made of any material – Legos, cardboard, wood, recycled items, metal, etc. However, may Not be made from a Kit.
Documentation (answers to 5 documentations questions) must be submitted with your siege engine. Add images for extra credit. (Drawings, designs or photos )
This is a Family Activity. Anyone and everyone in your family, not just children, may get involved in this contest.
Ammunition for siege engines used at event shall be dried, standard size marshmallows (provided). Dry marshmallows don’t stick and are fairly harmless.
Need inspiration? Try Instructables.com, your library and other sources, like grandparents or friends.
Points for style, creativity, length of throw (ratio of mechanism size to how far away the marshmallow lands).
‘Goody Pack’ given to all participants texting, emailing or FaceBooking to accept the challenge.
Prize to be awarded at Court for winning entry.
